Q: What is a general contractor?

A: To put it simply, general contractor is just another term for a project manager. He or she is responsible for handling all the little details of a construction project from start to finish, including the hiring and and scheduling of subcontractors, as well as the purchase of materials; he or she is responsible for the entire project, which is why it is important to choose a licensed and insured general contractor.

A: Yes, we are a licensed and insured general contractor.

A: Unfortunately, there's not a simple answer to this question; no two jobs are alike. Once you have us take a look at your project, we can start narrowing down the time frame. Remember though, we don't want to rush through your work and do a poor job just to stay in the timeline we estimated; we want to make sure we do a high quality job and get it right the first time. Q: Who will be my main contact?

A: Wayne Arling, Owner/Sr. Project Manager, will be your primary contact. Although you might receive the occasional call from the office or our on-site team, you can always direct any questions, concerns, etc. directly to Wayne. Q: What services do you offer?

A: We do it all! We can handle most any project, whether it's a simple clean-out, painting, gutter repair/replacement, kitchen remodel, or a whole home rehab. Our skilled, professional sub-contractors have wide varieties of experience, so you can trust them to do an exceptional job on your project, big or small. Q: Do you have any references?

Q: What payment methods do you accept?


A: Currently we only accept cash or check; if you'd like to request us to start accepting credit cards, please CONTACT US. Q: Do you charge for estimates?

A: There is no charge for estimates. Q: Are your prices set in stone?

A: Not at all; pricing is a complicated matter, and many times a price can be quoted high initially if there is a miscommunication or simply a lack of communication. For example, if you request a quote for a kitchen remodel, but don't have many specifics, a contractor will have to guess on the level of detail or quality of materials you'd like, and it might not match your budget, so be sure to discuss your project in as much detail as possible; if you're unsure, we can provide different options so you can see the cost difference. Q: How can I get a more accurate bid from a contractor?

A: Details, details, details! The more we know about what you want, the easier it will be for everyone. Share your vision with us, and be sure to include what materials, colors and features you like the most. If you're on a tight budget, be sure to ask for suggestions about affordable alternatives to materials that might be budget busters; there are lots of nice, high-quality options that can often give you the look you want for less.
